Call for Submissions
Terrazzo Editions will consider full-length literary fiction manuscripts, either novels or novellas. We encourage interested authors to read our online literary magazine, Terrazzo Mag, to familiarize themselves with the writing we have published.
Manuscripts in their entirety must be previously unpublished in print, on personal blogs, newsletters, or other online platforms. Previously published excerpts are okay.
Submissions must include:
Your complete manuscript attached as a word Doc (12 pt. font, double-spaced)
A short, paragraph-long synopsis of your book in the body of your email
A brief author bio in the body of your email
Additional Guidelines
We’re happy to read writing from unagented as well as agented authors.
One manuscript per author; no multiple submissions.
Terrazzo Editions does not charge reading fees.
Simultaneous submissions are fine. We kindly ask that you notify us if your manuscript finds a home elsewhere.
We exclusively consider electronic submissions; we will not read or reply to mailed submissions, incomplete submissions, or work sent outside our reading period.
We will reply to every writer who sends us a manuscript and follows these guidelines. We are unable to provide specific feedback on submissions.
How To Submit
Format your subject line as follows: your name, manuscript title, and the kind of book you’re sending (novel, novella), like so: Terrazzo Editions Submission: Author – Title (Novel).
